This new blog is for all of my genealogy projects and pictures. In a better attempt to be organized with all of my information, it's my hope to record family stories, anecdotes and photos.
dear connie...i am so glad that i stumbled on to your new blog. oh i have read and reread this first post about the mcollum family. just look at the perfect waves in little evoline's hair! she shares the same birthday as my sister, betty, i have clicked on to the pictures to make them larger connie and i felt so sad to read the one about clifford dying at such a tender age, just imagine though connie, he has been in heaven for almost one hundred years now! and poor james. how sad is THAT?! connie i will love to read about your family history so i have elected right away to become a follower of this blog....love terry
Thanks Terry! I LOVE old photos and I became the Family's Historian after my beloved Grandma (Homer & Lizzie's 3rd child) passed away. I have devoted hundreds of hours to research and have been slowly working on the older section of the family's book. So far I have covered up to *1700. In the meantime, these more "recent" stories are locked inside my memories and I feel like I need to have an outlet for them as well. I have had it in my mind to start a Genealogy blog for a long time now and decided to just dive in! I'm glad you found my family so interesting! Hugs, Connie
